The delightful Geraldine (one half of Geraldine Pierre Skin Care – the other half is Pierre her furry co-founder and poodle extraordinaire) sent me a bottle of her Gently Pamper Oil to try after we were chatting and both discovered a shared love for animals.
As I’ve matured over the years, my needs in a beauty product have changed – and I don’t just mean from “youthful” to “anti-aging” beauty products – but a more conscious, mindful approach to purchasing products has developed. I love the Gently Pamper Oil and have used it in more than just my everyday beauty regime (I have been applying this under my moisturiser – I’ve been using it along with a cleanser and moisturiser from Happy Skincare – another brand that shares the same values as Geraldine Pierre Skin Care and both brands products complimented each other really well! You can see my review for Happy Skincare here). I’m excited to learn that Geraldine will soon be launching her own cleanser and moisturiser soon. After using the Gently Pamper Oil, I’m sure they’ll be just as lovely to use – the oil feels so luxurious and lasts for so long too! A high quality product that delivers on it’s promise.
The Gently Pamper Oil has many varied uses. I’ve applied it to elbows and knees to give a little moisture to those dry areas. One of my favourite uses is adding a little of the oil to my hair. I have naturally wavy hair, but if there’s even a hint of moisture in the air my hair instantly frizzes in a MAJOR way – adding the oil to my hair on those days not only tames the flyaways, but actually accentuates the natural curl/wave in my hair, adding a touch of shine as it gently curls.
If you like your pamper sessions, you’ll love the diversity to this product – not only do you apply it under your moisturiser, but you can add a couple of drops to your mask (either face or hair). Love manis/pedicures? Use it on your cuticles! Why not massage a few drops into your feet, apply some socks then curl up with your fave book or movie whilst it works it magic. Oh and men – you’re not forgotten either – you can use this as a beard oil as well.
