Enjoying a Ginger & Date Cookie with my fave herbal tea (Chilli & Cocoa Herbal Infusion)
.

I was given a sample of the new range of cookies to try in exchange for an honest review on the products. I loved that the cookies had a crumbly texture to them and the flavours really popped. They’re great with tea or coffee, or enjoyed on their own. They’re a healthier alternative to a lot of cookies available on the market, and do not compromise on taste at all.

It was hard to choose a favourite amongst them as they all tasted really good. I loved how my fave ‘Chilli & Cocoa’ Tea complimented the flavour of the Ginger & Date cookie – whilst I thought this may be have been my favourite cookie (as I do tend to love ginger and dates – especially the spiciness of ginger), I found myself really enjoying the Double Coconut Cookie as well. The Raw Cacao cookie was rather delicious too.

I love how these cookies can be enjoyed by pretty much all diets. They are free from gluten, GMO, egg, soy, dairy products, processed sugar and alcohol sugars and are high in fibre and essential fatty acids. The Ginger & Date cookie does contain walnuts, but the Double Coconut and Raw Cacao Cookies are both nut free.

This is a product that can be enjoyed by one and all – whether you have allergies or intolerances, or just want something healthier to snack on. I’m lucky enough that I don’t have any certain dietary requirements, but I certainly do like finding healthier alternatives with regards to the food that I eat!

Over all I was impressed with the quality of the product, the texture and the consistency throughout. The flavours were all really nice, and I can easily see this as a range of products I would want to stock up on for quality ‘me-time’ or entertaining friends and family who come around for a cuppa. It’s priced quite well for the style of product – especially its being considered a gourmet product. This is something that everyone can enjoy – you don’t need to worry about any special dietary needs or food intolerances, so it’s especially great for entertaining.

The cookies will be landing soon at a local IGA store near you and selected independent health stores across Australia. They are sold in individual packs for (RRP) $3.80 or you can buy a box of 12 for (RRP) $9.10

You can find out more about the range of cookies here. Be sure to keep your eye out for the cookies – they’re sure to be a hit amongst the cookie lovers, so you want to be sure you can snap up a few (or a few boxes) to enjoy with your next coffee break!
