Avon, the company for women, is a leading global beauty company, with $10 billion in annual revenue. As one of the world’s largest direct sellers, Avon is sold through more than 6 million active independent Avon Sales Representatives. Avon products are available in over 100 countries, and the product line includes color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, and fashion and home products, featuring such well-recognized brand names as Avon Color, ANEW, Skin-So-Soft and Advance Techniques.
With more products sold than any other category, bath, body and hair is Avon’s biggest category in Australia and New Zealand. It’s the go-to for everyday essentials like shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, and body moisturiser – often at better prices than leading supermarket brands.
For this review, we’re looking at the Avon Naturals range of products:
Avon Naturals Hair Care – Colour Moisture 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner
Keep your coloured hair looking – and smelling – amazing. Treat it right with Naturals 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. Our low PH Pomegranate and Camellia formula helps replenish moisture and provides gentle, fuss-free care for colour treated hair. Nourish your hair for a happy, healthy shine.
I tend to use the 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner as my “go-to” product when I’m travelling – it’s easier to pack one product as opposed to two (especially when you need to restrict the amount of stuff you have in your bag – to ensure you have enough room for anything you purchase whilst on holiday to bring back).
I used this recently whilst I was away (Bridesmaid for a wedding, and had just coloured my hair). I love the scent of this 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner – it has a rather pretty scent, and I actually received comments about how pretty my hair smelt whilst at the wedding.
Avon Naturals Body Care – Shower Gel
Moisturise and scent your skin while you cleanse with the rich lather of moisturising gel. Choose from 5 harmonious blends of naturally inspired extracts.
I love this product – I always feel super clean after using their shower gels – there’s no greasy, dirty feeling residue (the kind you feel with some soaps), no drying out of the skin… it’s an all over moisturising feel, and again a beautiful scent. I actually have several different scents from the naturals range (one to fit each mood lol)… it lathers really well and moisturisers the skin quite deeply. For the price you pay for this it is super affordable, and well worth the money too!
Avon Naturals Body Care – Anti-Bacterial Hand Wash
Refreshing liquid gel leaves hands fresh and velvety soft.
This is great to have in either the bathroom or kitchen. Handy sized bottle, [again] great scent. I actually have a couple of these (different scents); it has a simple, easy to use pump action top, which squirts out just the right amount of product to use. It both cleans and moisturises your hands at the same time.
For the price that you’ll pay for these products, they’re well worth it. The Naturals range is often on sale, so you can pick up either of these cheaper than you would in a Supermarket. The Pomegranate & Mango (Camellia seed oil for the 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner) scent is quite lovely, I’ve received compliments on the scent from the Shampoo & Conditioner, and loved the feel of the Shower Gel and it’s lathering effect. The hand wash was quite nice to use as well.
