La Dolce Vita Ristorante – Milton

Years ago a girlfriend and I use to frequent this restaurant every Friday night after work, it was our chance to catch up, relax and get ready for the weekend. We use to go here that often that we ended up with our very own Italian waiter, who not only served us, but would take his meal break with us too.

Those were the days! My girlfriend has since moved Interstate, and was recently up in Brisbane on a brief holiday, so we decided to relive those days together.

I apologise in advance, the photos are not the best and do not do the place justice!

La Dolce Vita Ristorante has been a culinary icon on Brisbane’s famous Park Road since 1992. Following the inception of La Dolce Vita Cafe in 1989 the strip has been the greatest ambassador for Italian Fare Brisbane has ever seen.

The restaurant has grown a lot since then. When we first started frequenting this place, there was just one section to the restaurant. It has since spread in size and even the size of the Eiffel tower has grown dramatically over the years!

The quality of food however has not changed – they still produce amazing Italian meals, as well as salads, gourmet sandwiches and more. The food here is a delight to eat!

This really is a great place to catch up with friends – the service is great, the food delicious ad the atmosphere was cheery too. There are many restaurants and cafes along the strip, but if you haven’t been to La Dolce Vita before, I recommend you stop in for a lazy lunch or dinner with friends.
