Menulog – Wok N Toss

Menulog is No.1 for online takeaway with features such as the ability to order food online at over 3500 restaurants around Australia, not to mention the quick and easy search feature that allows you to find your favourite restaurant (you also have the option to either pick up your meal, or have it delivered to you).

Menulog also has the widest range of Special Offers and Discounts as well as the ability to view most popular and top rated venues in their User Rated section as voted by the public.

I recently tried out their services, letting my partner pick a restaurant at random in the area to review.

The system is really easy to use, simply enter in your postcode, and it will bring up a list of restaurants that deliver in your area. He chose Wok N Toss. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice either.

Wok N Toss have a variety of cuisines to sample from Vietnamese to Thai, Singapore & Malaysian, as well as Chinese. Vegetarians are catered for as well – not to mention there’s chips and burgers on the menu as well.

You can opt for either a set menu, choose any item from the menu or create your own – with the array of different styles to choose from, there’s something there to suit even the fussiest of eaters (which makes Wok N Toss a great restaurant to order from for the family).

We chose the Chinese Set which consisted of Prawn Chips and Spring Rolls as entrée, as well as Mongolian Beef with Vegetables, Special Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Chicken, which we had delivered to the house. You receive an SMS after placing your order online, to confirm that the restaurant has received it.

The mains came in large round containers as seen in the pictures and were packed full (we had plenty left over after our meal, they don’t scrimp on the serving size of their mains). I was thoroughly impressed with both the size of the meals as well as the taste! I am keen to try out their Singapore and Malaysian range next time I order from them!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered from Menulog (I’m use to ordering ‘pizza’ online – not ordering from a restaurant), I was pleasantly surprised with my experience and would recommend them to others who want to try something different than ‘pizza’ – though they do have you catered for there as well with various pizza restaurants if that’s your thing as well!
