MOR Candied Vanilla Hand & Body Lotion – Product Review

Browsing the magazine rack recently, I was drawn to the latest marie claire magazine (party season is coming up, and I was keen to see what’s trending in the fashion world).

They also had a sample size of MOR Candied Vanilla Hand & Body Lotion as a freebie with the magazine. It’s a generous size sample too at 80mL (and yes, it’s another reason I purchased the mag).

I’ve actually been using this hand & body lotion everyday since, it’s a handy compact size to go into your handbag or gym bag.  It has a very pleasant scent to it as well – so much so that I’ve probably used it more than I needed too, just so I could smell it.

MOR was established in 2011 and continually strive to be the pioneering creator of bath, body and lifestyle products. Their philosophy is to provide a unique sensory journey, where an everyday practice turns into an indulgent daily ritual – from the finely blended formulation, to the exceptionally detailed and opulent packaging.

Given my own personal reaction to this sample, I’d have to say that they’ve achieved their objective here. We often overlook the importance of applying body lotion to our skin, especially if we’re short for time. However, this product has me actually putting time aside for that now. Turning an everyday task (or chore as I had started to look at it) into an experience I now look forward too.

I do enjoy my pamper sessions, but they’re usually done on a day over the weekend, where I go all out and indulge the girly side of me. However, I now have a “pamper” session everyday, whenever I apply this lotion to my skin!

The body lotion is enriched with Almond Extract and Argan Oil – and seriously – the fragrance from this product is amazing! I also love that it’s very smooth and absorbs so quickly into the skin.
