Little Box O’ Vintage – December Review

(EDIT: We apologise that this has only been released some many months after our review… we appear to have experienced a glitch in the system that prevented this from being published at the “future date” it was originally set for.)

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances (and family emergencies), there was no November Subscription Box to review from Little Box O’ Vintage; however I did receive a special December edition from the lovely Beck, as well as advice that Little Box O’ Vintage is changing their focus in 2016 – moving away from the Subscription Boxes and into designing jewellery instead!

My box arrived as I was in the process of packing to move house, so I wasn’t able to take as many photos as I usually would to show off the pieces I received (so unfortunately, I missed the whole “unboxing” process for you all – my very bad, I know!)

I’m sure you’ll just adore the items I received though – I know I DID!

Being “December”, the theme was across Christmas, so reindeers were a feature here as well as Christmassy colours. I received a gorgeous red scarf to go with my collection, several pairs of earrings, bright red lipstick and of course several more broaches to wear!

My collection of cocktail stirrers has been growing vastly thanks to Little Box O’ Vintage – I have such a cute array of them, and absolutely love the Christmassy ones shown above. The pineapple shown is actually a super cute coin purse (it’s a little bigger than you expect – so it’s also perfect for storing notes and cards in it as well!) I received a super cute snowman brooch, parrot earrings, as well as the red round earrings you can see on the right.

I have to admit, my most favourite item out of the whole collection is this super cute “Bambi” like brooch – I pretty much intend to wear this on Christmas Day (and well any other day after that as well) – it’s just as cute as the cameo style anchor brooch from the Oct Box – I fell in love with this one the moment I saw it!

Sadly, this is the last box from Little Box O’ Vintage… but do not be disheartened… you can still get your fix of pinup and retro style quirky fashion accessories via her site.

In fact – let’s check out some of the products that she herself has been creating for the site – by visiting here you can purchase a variety of items (some that appeared in the subscription boxes, others that are unique and not part of the collections collated each month).

Beck now has her own design label – to see what she’s been up too, you can check out her site on facebook Luxe L’Amour – she also has an etsy store so you can buy direct from her. Some of the jewellery and fashion accessories she’s created are just so damn adorable!

Be sure to drop by her page and check out her work… she’s also in touch with various other local Australian designers, and their work will pop up on her site from time to time as well!
