Little Box O’ Vintage – Oct Review

(EDIT: We apologise that this has only been released some many months after our review… we appear to have experienced a glitch in the system that prevented this from being published at the “future date” it was originally set for.)

Another month, another subscription box from Little Box O’ Vintage and the theme for October was “Anchors Aweigh!”

This box had a lot of jewellery and fashion accessories in it, and yup, you guessed it – anchors were the theme! There were also crafty nautical pieces in the box too (which I quite like, as I like getting my craft on at times!)

Without further ado… lets start the process of opening the box!!!

As you can see it’s full of nautical and anchor themes. Now to take a closer look at everything inside! Let’s start with the crafty side! There was a super cute skeleton girl postcard, more decorative papers to use as accents for papercrafts (yup, it went straight into my scrapbook!) and cute lil’ anchor buttons to decorate with as well.  There were anchor “paperclips” (which quickly became a “must have” item in my office), and a whale sticker and shark toy as well.

I fell in love with the jewellery items straight away – this box couldn’t have arrived at a better time as I was desperately in need of a watch, so it was awesome to discover a nautical themed one in the box! There were also a collection of cute anchor necklaces, bracelets AND a brooch as well – just perfect for days out on the water!

You can see the bracelet and scarf in the above photos (of the ‘unboxing’) – this was a super cute box to receive, and I can see myself using a lot of what was contained in the box. I’ve really been enjoying receiving this subscription box, there are a lot of fun, quirky pieces in it by local Australian designers, and it’s great to be able to show off these pieces to friends!

As always, be sure to check out Little Box O’ Vintage and make sure you check out their sales items too – you can often pick up a bargain (and often an item that ISN’T a part of the subscription boxes!
